1995 thru 2005
Member of In Harms Way, as chief lyricist, singer and acoustic guitar player. With close friends that were accomplished musicians, I was able to write (or co-write) over 100 songs. We recorded 4CDs (Cheaper Than Therapy, Alligator Necklace, It's All About Her, & This Match Strikes Anywhere)
2010 to 2018
Open Microphone host at multiple locations with a 8 year run at Up a Creek Tavern in Warren, Ohio. As I said al the time, "If you wanna sing a song, play a guitar, tell a joke, read a poem, juggle a ball, toss a frisbee or strip, I have a stage for you."
2005 thru Present
Beginning on the Oasis Patio deck at BW3s in July 2005, I have played over 1000 shows at all sorts of venues from "classy to crappy." I have written, recorded and performed my own eclectic blend of blues, rock and folk music throughout northeast Ohio and beyond. I can capture an audience, a mood and an night like no other.
2020 PANDEMIC
The night before St. Patrick's Day, I got the emails that performances were cancelled due to the pandemic. A friend, Jennifer Storm, suggested I go on Facebook Live. I never would have thought of it. I played about 4 songs around the fire pit in my backyard. Little did I know how well it was received during lock-down and beyond. I played many Wednesdays and every Sunday for 16 months. The shows were about an hour each. I had between 20-125 people listening each week. Listeners were from over 10+ states. We had our own little community as people chatted with each other while I played. Friends , like Bob Stumpf, would send me theme requests on Tuesday for Sunday shows. My wifey would "moderate" the chats and keep me up to speed on what listeners texted. I learned dozens of requested songs and had a blast. It was a free show, but I gained so much from the experience. I got to keep in touch with old friends, I made some new friends and, in reflection, I reaffirmed how music touches everyone.
THANK YOU to everyone that listened!!!!!
